ABSTRACT:
In the presence of InCl3 as a catalyst one-pot (4p+2p) cycloaddition reaction of aromatic aldehydes, arylamines and DHF in ethanol proceeded smoothly to give tetrahydroquinoline derivatives (4a-4j) in excellent yields. Advantages of this method are shorter reaction time and biologically important.
