ABSTRACT:
Novel Azo dyes have been synthesized using substituted aromatic amines and various Aldehydic compounds by using diazotization reaction followed by coupling reaction. The resulting dyes were characterized by spectral techniques like UV, IR, H1-NMR. The newly synthesized azo compounds were screened for the antimicrobial activities against five different bacterial species. The newly synthesized dyes were found to show excellent results for Spectra and antimicrobial activity.
