ABSTRACT:
We reported the synthesis and type- II anti-diabetic activity of pyrrolidine-2-carbonitrile derived ligands in SHR-STZ animal models. 3 Dimensional Quantitative Structural activity, pharmacophore, docking studies used for design of molecules, studies reveled that novel substituted cyanopyrrolidines had been promising candidate for further research. Molecules had been synthesized and evaluated for anti-diabetic activity through the use of Spontaneously Hypertensive Rat- Streptozotocin animal model. Amongst all of the synthesized compounds 1-(2-(5- methylisoxazol-3-ylamino) acetyl) pyrrolidine-2-carbonitrile, 1- (2-(5-methyl-1, 2, 4-oxadiazol-3-ylamino) acetyl) pyrrolidine-2- carbonitrile and 1-(2-(1, 2, 4-thiadiazol-5- ylamino) acetyl) pyrrolidine-2-carbonitrile had been found to be strong anti-diabetic activity.
