ABSTRACT:
Various chalcones with 3-nitro acetophenone were synthesized, characterized and screened for their antibacterial and antioxidant activities. The synthesized compounds were characterized through elemental analysis and spectroscopic techniques (FTIR, 1H NMR, 13C-NMR and Mass).All the compound of these series showed better results as compared with the standard.
