ABSTRACT:
This paper describes a simple, accurate, specific and sensitive UV spectrophotometric method for determination of Sacubitril in synthetic mixture. A study was carried out of the parameters established as per ICH guide lines to validate an analytical method i.e. linearity, range, accuracy, precision and sensitivity. A wavelength maximum of Sacubitril in methanol and water (25:75 v/v) was selected at 242 nm. Method was found to be linear in the range of 2-12 µg/ml with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.999. Method was successfully validated as per ICH guidelines. In addition, this proposed method was simple, sensitive, and easy to apply and requires relatively inexpensive instruments.
